The Great Barrier Reef is the only living thing visible from space! A Catamaran took us to a pontoon at the outer reef from the Cairns Marina and we had the opportunity to snorkle, scuba dive, or see the reef in a semi-submersible. A beautiful winter day in the tropics! The reef is about 18 miles out and the trip took about 90 minutes each way.
