July 5th - We survived our long plane trip from Los Angeles to Melbourne (15 hours and 35 minutes!) We left at about 11:45 PM on Friday, July 2nd and arrived in Melbourne at 8:45 AM - losing a day.
It is winter in Australia and the temperature today was 15 - about 60 degrees Fahrenheit. We've enjoyed some walking tours of the city, bus tour of the city, and some lovely shops and museums. Melbourne is a easy city to navigate and has a free City Circle tram. The pictures show some of the city skyline, Queen Victoria Market (produce/flea market area) and arcades - with shopping and restaurants.
